connection fails at "negotiating SSL" from Ubuntu 9.10 (firefox & chrome)

Hi,

I am unable to connect to a Mac server from my Ubuntu laptop. The LogMeIn install is fresh. I am able to connect to the server from a variety of other machines (all Windows & Mac) from a variety of web browsers (IE, chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc), and from a variety of networks.

Here's the rundown:
1. Select the server for remote connection.
2. Enter the server username / passsword.
3. Click Remote Connection.
4. Activate encryption never gets checked off.
5. Show details reports "Negotiating SSL..." as the last step.
6. Logmein reports the connection has failed.

Google searches have not come up with anything useful. Any advice?

Thanks,

Hi,

Any thoughts? This is still a problem.

It appears to be an issue with 64-bit Flash. Disabling the Flash add-on forces LMI to load using Java.

Unfortunately, there is no preference to force LMI to prefer to use Java, so I have to disable Flash manually every time I want to use LMI.
